St. Philips Church Social: A Celebration of Community and Tradition

St. Philips is gearing up for one of its most anticipated annual events—the St. Philips Church Social, set to take place on August 9 and 10, 2025. This cherished gathering, brings together families, friends, and visitors for a weekend filled with delicious food, exciting games, and heartwarming fellowship.  The St. Philips Church Social is more than just an event—it is a celebration of community and faith. It provides an opportunity for locals and visitors alike to come together, share stories, and create lasting memories. Whether you are indulging in delicious food, trying your luck at the raffle, or simply enjoying the company of friends and family, this social promises to be a weekend to remember.

Burger Shack is serving our famous hamburgers along with specialty burgers, brats, barbecue, german bologna, and hotdogs.

Snack Shack is back with chicken tenders, buffalo chicken, cheese sticks, corndogs, tater tots and loaded tots.

Pizza Booth will offer Papa John’s pizza and breadsticks along with ice cold lemonade. Also, soft ice cream, snow cones and soft drinks and water will be available. There are so many choices you will be sure to find something you love!

Our famous Fried Chicken with all the fixings will be served Sunday from 10:30 am till it is all gone.

The Raffle has a GRAND PRIZE of a Large Big Green Egg package valued at $1800 or a $2000 Bassemier’s Fireplace Patio and Spa gift card. Additional prizes include four $1000 cash prizes.

Attendees can also participate in the special raffle, grocery raffle, half pot, chinese auction, paddle wheel, and BINGO, which will be held inside the church basement in air-conditioned comfort.

For children, there will be a dedicated play area with a variety of games designed to keep them entertained throughout the weekend. The quilt booth will showcase beautifully crafted quilts, offering guests a chance to win one of these treasured pieces.
