Our diocese will host a Eucharistic Congress in Evansville at the Old National Events Plaza Auditorium on January 13, 2024. Bishop Joseph Siegel will be the main celebrant of the closing Mass and Rev. Tyler Tenbarge will be the Master of Ceremonies. Presenters will be Msgr. James Shea, Dr. Edward Sri, and Dr. Andrew and Sarah Swafford with musicians John Michael Talbot and PJ Anderson. This Eucharistic Congress is meant to draw the local body of Christ together for worship, adoration, education, service, joy, and especially mission. We are called to share the good news, and this Congress could be a starting line for a new age of mission in the Diocese of Evansville.
