With the lifting of social distance restrictions and Mass attendance obligation being reinstated, the ministries of sacristans, greeters, ushers and servers are being in place again. We have openings in all these ministries.

Sacristans take care of the sacred vessels before and after Mass. Setting up requires that the proper amount of hosts are in the ciborium and chalice preparation, among other duties. It requires that those who serve as sacristans are present 15 to 20 minutes before and after Mass.

Greeters are those who meet and greet them that enter the church gathering area, assisting those who need directions, handing out bulletins at the end of Mass as people leave along with other duties and always have a big smile and welcoming heart

Ushers are those who assist in seating those attending Mass, they take care of collections, and do an attendance count for each Mass, among other duties.

Servers are those who prepare the altar with lighting candles, ensuring that the sacred vessels are placed on the credence table and assist the priest at Mass, among other duties. Contact Seminarian Nick Biever, nbiever@evdio.org. All new & returning servers are asked to attend one of the 30 minute training sessions on June 19th or 20th after Mass.

Extraordinary Ministers of the Holy Eucharist, please contact Deacon Charlie, ckoressel@evdio.org
