Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

The purpose of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is to unite the parents and teachers of the Parish School, to acquaint parents with school operations, to assist with school activities, and to provide financial support.  They meet 4 times a year.

In an effort to raise funds for the school, the PTO conducts small fundraisers throughout the year including, but not limited to, Hacienda or other restaurant Nights (when available), kuchen sales, Box Top/Campbell's Soup Labels/Coke points collection, and the Prize Bazaar on the last day of school. The largest fundraiser for the year is the Spring Raffle Ticket sale. The money from these fundraisers is used primarily to support the programs of the school and the needs of the teachers to enhance programs. This includes teacher start-up money, additional learning materials, playground equipment, field trips, and other items that may not be included in the school budget.
