We are all in the same storm but not the same boat!

As a parish family, are so blessed to have a roof over our heads, food on the table, wonderful families and friends but not everyone is so fortunate. There are many, many homeless men, women and families here in Evansville that are relying on organizations to feed, shelter and clothe them in this National Emergency.

The Evansville Rescue Mission is working hard to meet this urgent need. As of Friday, they are providing 3 meals per day, 7 days a week to more than 600 people per day at multiple locations, including the homeless at the ERM main campus, the Sarto House, Ozanam Family Shelter, House of Bread and Peace, Camp Reveal and other locations.

Many of these men and women only have the clothes on their back or have very little. They need our help!

St. Philip Parish is collecting men and women’s new clothing such as T-shirts, underwear, socks, hoodies, light weight jackets, jeans, etc., as well as, personal hygiene items, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, shaving cream, razors and women's personal hygiene supplies.

Large boxes are in the gathering area of our church for donations or, if you prefer, to gift money please put a check in the money box mounted on the wall near the Touch of Faith Gift Shop. Please make your check payable to Deb Koressel and she will purchase items needed. Please make your donation before Friday, May 8th.

The church doors at St. Philip are open from 7:00am until 7:00pm daily. The Holy Eucharist is in the Monstrance on the Altar in the Sanctuary instead of in the chapel to spend a few (or more) minutes with Christ. Please be respectful of social distance while at the parish campus.
